Sandhya Theatre Tragedy: Allu Arjun To Be Questioned By Hyderabad Police Today
December 24, 2024: It seems that Allu Arjun is at the center of some controversy following a tragic incident that occurred during the premiere of Pushpa 2. The tragic death of a woman named Revathi, which took place at Sandhya Theatre, has sparked protests and legal scrutiny. The protestors, seeking justice for the victim, even went as far as attacking Allu Arjun’s residence, leading to confrontations with his security staff.
On the legal front, Allu Arjun has been summoned by the Chikkadpalli police for questioning in relation to the incident. It seems the situation has been further complicated by political controversy, with Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy accusing the actor of responsibility, claiming that the event at Sandhya Theatre took place despite police denying permission due to safety concerns.
The incident has not only led to protests and police action but also legal meetings, as a group of lawyers was seen at Allu Arjun’s home discussing the matter on Monday. Meanwhile, the producers of Pushpa 2 have offered compensation to the victim’s family in an attempt to provide some relief, with the family receiving a Rs 50 lakh cheque. However, tensions remain high, and Allu Arjun has strongly denied any wrongdoing, calling the allegations an attempt at “character assassination.”
This case has stirred both legal and political waters, and it will likely continue to be a topic of public discussion as more details emerge.
