Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali is expected to reveal his next major work in March. He is already working on the post-production of his upcoming web series, “Heeramandi.” SLB is determined to begin production on a new feature picture for the big screen in 2024, as things are quietly progressing. According to a person close to the production team, “SLB is targeting to announce the film in March 2024 with little to no delay.” Speaking of “Heeramandi,” the film features Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Richa Chadha, Sharmin Segal, and Sanjeeda Sheikh in the key parts.

In the colorful district of Heeramandi during pre-independence India, legends of courtesans and the hidden cultural realities will be explored in “Heeramandi.” Essentially, it’s a show about politics, betrayal, love, and the kothas. Expect SLB’s signature larger-than-life settings, complex characters, and moving compositions. The OTT service Netflix will be the only place where the series premieres. The director is well-known for his successful motion pictures, including “Black,” “Ram-Leela,” “Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam,” “Bajirao Mastani,” “Padmaavat,” “Devdas,” “Saawariya,” and “Gangubai Kathiawadi.”
