Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Love and War’ Starring Ranbir And Alia, Scheduled For Release In 2026

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s highly anticipated film, ‘Love and War’, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Vicky Kaushal, has had its release date rescheduled.

Initially set for a Christmas 2025 release, the film will now hit theaters on March 20, 2026, according to an official update from Bhansali’s team.

Taran Adarsh, a well-known trade analyst, confirmed the updated release date on X, building further anticipation for the epic saga that promises Bhansali’s trademark blend of intense emotions, grandeur, and drama.

This film marks a significant reunion for Ranbir Kapoor and Bhansali, who last worked together in Ranbir’s debut film Saawariya in 2007. For Alia Bhatt, it’s her second collaboration with Bhansali after the critically acclaimed Gangubai Kathiawadi (2022). Vicky Kaushal will be working with Bhansali for the first time, adding fresh excitement to the star-studded cast.

The official announcement of Love and War was made in January 2024, and the movie is expected to begin production soon.
