Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Love & War’ to Feature a Spectacular Sicilian Climax

Sanjay Leela Bhansali is set to elevate his upcoming magnum opus, Love & War, with a month-long schedule in Sicily, Italy, for its climax. The sequence will feature a dramatic finale and a grand song with the star-studded trio of Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Vicky Kaushal.

September 4, 2025: The long-awaited movie Love & War, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, is about to come to an end. According to reports, the closing scenes of the love story will be filmed in Italy. The news comes after a recent legal battle that is believed to have been resolved, so the movie will still come out on time.

A source connected to the production revealed that Bhansali had been planning to film a large closing scene and a big song-and-dance routine in Sicily, Italy, for more than a month. The director, who is known for his over-the-top graphics, wants to show off the beauty of the setting and make it part of the dramatic climax, which stars Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Vicky Kaushal.

Filming will start once the legal issues are resolved.
The director was recently involved in a scandal, and now they are going to shoot in another country. Prateek Raj Mathur, a line producer, filed a FIR against Bhansali in Rajasthan because they were arguing over money that had to do with the director’s latest movie, Heeramandi.

But the Bikaner court that first ordered the FIR has seemingly changed its mind and withdrawn the case. Now that this legal issue has been resolved, the movie’s production is back on schedule. The team who developed Love & War have promised that it would still come out over the lengthy holiday weekend that starts on March 20, 2025.
