Sara Ali Khan, Aditya Roy Kapur, and Anurag Basu Share Goofy Selfie from ‘Metro In Dino’ Set

Sara Ali Khan and Aditya Roy Kapur are gearing up to captivate audiences in Anurag Basu’s much-anticipated film ‘Metro In Dino’. On Friday, Sara delighted her fans by sharing a series of behind-the-scenes pictures on Instagram, featuring herself, Aditya, and Anurag Basu. The trio, known for their charismatic presence, didn’t hold back on the fun as they made goofy faces and posed for a playful selfie.

Sara captioned the post with a lighthearted note, “Metro In Dino. Madness mein hum Teeno,” perfectly capturing the spirited energy of the moment. Fans quickly flooded the comment section with excitement. One fan wrote, “Can’t wait,” while another expressed their enthusiasm, saying, “Omggg Sara and Aditya together. Absolutely cuteness.” Another comment read, “This one is gonna be GREAT,” reflecting the high anticipation surrounding the film.

‘Metro In Dino’ is an anthology film directed by Anurag Basu, featuring an ensemble cast that includes Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Ali Fazal, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Pankaj Tripathi, and Konkona Sen Sharma. The film marks the second collaboration between Aditya and Basu, who previously worked together on the critically acclaimed film ‘Ludo’.

The title ‘Metro In Dino’ appears to be inspired by the popular song “In Dino” from Basu’s earlier film ‘Life in a… Metro’. The upcoming film is expected to explore the bittersweet tales of human relationships set in contemporary times, much like its predecessor.

Anurag Basu, known for his films like ‘Barfi’, ‘Life In a Metro’, ‘Ludo’, and ‘Jagga Jasoos’, shared more about the project, saying, “Metro In Dino is a tale of the people and for the people! It has been a while since I am working on this one, and I am glad to be collaborating with a powerhouse like Bhushan Kumar yet again, who has always been like a pillar to me!”

Basu also emphasized the importance of music in his films, expressing his excitement about collaborating with his longtime friend Pritam. “As music plays a very important role in any film, I couldn’t be happier to be collaborating with my dear friend Pritam, who has literally added life to the characters and story with his work,” Basu added.

In addition to ‘Metro In Dino,’ Sara Ali Khan is also set to share the screen with Ayushmann Khurrana for the first time in an upcoming action-comedy. The film will be produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and Guneet Monga’s Sikhya Entertainment, marking their third theatrical collaboration. Fans are eagerly awaiting these exciting projects from Sara, promising an eventful year ahead in Bollywood.
