“Sarfira’s Fun Wedding Anthem ‘Chaawat’ Unveiled

After the release of the soulful track ‘Khudaya,’ the makers of the eagerly awaited film ‘Sarfira,’ starring Akshay Kumar and Radhika Madan, have unveiled the lively wedding anthem ‘Chaawat.’

Titled ‘Chaawat,’ this Maharashtrian-themed track promises to be the highlight of celebrations this season. Akshay Kumar shared the new song video on his X account, captioning it, “Vir and Rani – Two Sarfiras, one wedding and a whole lot of love! Watch the joyous celebrations unfold with #Chaawat. Song Out Now. #Sarfira – landing in cinemas on 12th July 2024.”

The video features Akshay and Radhika showcasing their dance moves, including traditional lavani dance. The lyrics of ‘Chaawat,’ penned by Manoj Muntashir Shukla, are a delightful ode to love and celebration, while G.V Prakash Kumar’s composition, complemented by Shreya Ghoshal’s soulful voice, elevates the song to another level of grace and joy.

Directed by national award winner Sudha Kongara, known for her acclaimed works like ‘Irudhi Suttru’ and ‘Soorarai Pottru,’ the film promises a compelling narrative set against the backdrop of India’s startup culture and aviation industry. The recently unveiled trailer of ‘Sarfira’ showcases Akshay Kumar in a captivating role, portraying an underdog determined to challenge socio-economic barriers and make flying accessible to all.
