Revisiting the Story That Won Hearts

The original film, Saunkan Saunkne, followed the lives of Nirmal and Naseeb, a couple trying to conceive for eight years. At her mother-in-law’s behest, Naseeb convinces Nirmal to marry her younger sister, Kirna, setting off a hilarious rivalry between the two wives. The film was widely praised for its performances and comic timing.

With the entire cast returning and a talented crew on board, Saunkan Saunkanay 2 promises to be a laughter-packed summer treat for fans of Punjabi cinema.
