Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Faces Updated Indictment In Alleged Sex Trafficking Case

January 31, 2025: Federal prosecutors in New York have issued an updated indictment against music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs, adding more details to the allegations of orchestrating a wide-reaching criminal enterprise involving the trafficking and abuse of women. The superseding indictment, filed on Thursday, does not introduce new charges but provides expanded information about the alleged racketeering conspiracy, including claims that Combs coerced women into participating in forced sexual activities.

The revised indictment specifically identifies three women who were allegedly forced into commercial sex acts, adding gravity to the previous accusations. However, Combs’ legal team has dismissed these updates, arguing that the case remains flawed and that no new criminal offenses are being brought forward. Combs’ attorney, Marc Agnifilo, criticized the prosecution for labeling two of his former girlfriends as prostitutes, which he deemed “ridiculous.”

The charges are part of a continuing investigation into Combs’ alleged history of sexual abuse over the years. The original indictment accused him of manipulating and threatening women into engaging in sexual acts with male sex workers, often across state and international borders. Additionally, the updated indictment includes an alleged 2016 assault involving Combs’ ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, with claims that Combs paid hotel security staff to cover up the incident.

Other new details in the indictment suggest witness and victim intimidation, including the use of false narratives to conceal the truth. The updated filing also alleges a kidnapping related to the criminal enterprise and the involvement of illegal substances, such as psychedelic mushrooms and methamphetamines.

The indictment now asserts that the criminal activities began in 2004, rather than 2008 as previously claimed, suggesting that the investigation may uncover more charges in the future. Combs is scheduled to stand trial in May, and if convicted on all charges, he could face a maximum sentence of life in prison.
