Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Hit With New Sex Trafficking Charges Ahead of May Trial

April 5, 2025: Federal prosecutors have filed a new indictment against Sean “Diddy” Combs, with the charges now including five counts across three serious accusations: racketeering, sex trafficking by force or fraud, and transportation to engage in prostitution. The indictment, filed on Thursday, expands upon previous allegations, claiming that Combs has been running a criminal operation that has allegedly been ongoing since at least 2004.

Prosecutors assert that Combs utilized his businesses and fame to manipulate and control women, often using romantic gestures as a means of luring victims into his network. Once involved, these women were allegedly coerced into performing sex acts, some involving male sex workers, in what Combs reportedly referred to as “Freak Offs.” The acts were allegedly recorded, and some of these sex workers were transported across state and international borders.

In response, Combs’ legal team has issued a statement saying, “These are not new allegations or new accusers. These are the same individuals, former long-term girlfriends, who were involved in consensual relationships. This was their private sex life, defined by consent, not coercion.”

The indictment, which involves serious charges, also claims that Combs employed intimidation and threats to maintain control over the women involved, manipulating situations under the guise of romantic interest. In total, Combs faces five charges: racketeering, sex trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion, and transportation for prostitution.

Combs, who is being held in a Brooklyn jail, has pleaded not guilty to all charges. His trial is set to begin in May, with an arraignment scheduled for April 25. As the case unfolds, the entertainment mogul’s legal team is prepared to fight the accusations, which they contend involve consensual relationships rather than criminal activity.
