Seema Sajdeh Expresses Fear of Dating Again After Divorce from Sohail Khan, Says ‘I Might Get Killed’

April 26, 2025: Fashion designer and reality TV star Seema Sajdeh, who was married to actor Sohail Khan for 24 years, has opened up about her experience navigating the dating world after their divorce in 2022.

In a recent conversation with Janice Sequeria, Seema shared her thoughts on dating post-divorce, revealing how daunting the whole idea was for her.

Seema, who rose to fame with Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives, admitted that dating was the most challenging aspect of being single again. She humorously explained, “Honestly, for me, it was the worst part. Everyone just told me, ‘Arey, just go have a good time, meet him, talk to him.’ I watched too much of Law and Order SVU, and because I watched it too much, I started to think I might get killed. I’m like, ‘What if he turns out to be a serial killer?’”

The designer, who describes herself as “old school” when it comes to relationships, also shared a funny story about her one-time attempt to use a dating app. After a night out with friends, Seema signed up for the app, only to realize the next morning that she had selected “female” for her partner’s gender, mistakenly thinking the app was asking for her gender.

Before marrying Sohail Khan in 1998, Seema was briefly engaged to businessman Vikram Ahuja but ended that engagement. She and Sohail had an Arya Samaj wedding followed by a nikkah, and together they have two sons, Nirvan (born 2000) and Yohan (born 2011). After their split in 2022, Seema has moved on and is currently in a relationship with someone else.
