May 19, 2025: Selma Blair, best known for her role as Vivian Kensington in the 2001 cult classic Legally Blonde, is looking forward to the franchise’s next chapter — the upcoming prequel series ‘Elle’. Speaking in a recent interview, Blair reflected on the enduring impact of the film and expressed enthusiasm for the new series, which dives into the teenage years of Elle Woods, originally portrayed by Reese Witherspoon.

“‘Legally Blonde’ was such a gift,” Blair shared, adding that the film, along with other memorable titles like Cruel Intentions, holds “happy memories” that resonate with audiences to this day. “It’s such a gift in my life that I was a part of those films because they just brought a lot of joy to all of us.”
