April 26, 2025: Selma Blair, more than six years after revealing her multiple sclerosis (MS) diagnosis, is feeling rejuvenated and focused on reigniting her acting career. After being relapse-free for some time, Blair is eager to return to the screen, with multiple projects currently in the works.
In an interview with Deadline, the actress shared that she has been feeling great for about a year, crediting her renewed energy and stamina to her improved health. Blair said, “I am doing amazingly well. Now that I actually have stamina and energy, getting out and going out isn’t so scary.”

Her newfound vitality has given her a sense of purpose, and she’s exploring her dreams both in acting and writing. In addition to her return to acting, Blair is working on a young adult novel. She also remains committed to advocating for people with chronic illness and exploring the journey of rediscovering one’s purpose after a life-changing diagnosis.

Blair’s public battle with MS began when she revealed her diagnosis in 2018. She later shared her experiences in the 2021 documentary Introducing, Selma Blair, offering an intimate look at her struggles and triumphs.
