July 19, 2025: Superstar Shah Rukh Khan has reportedly sustained an injury while shooting for his highly anticipated 2026 film King. The incident took place during an intense action sequence at the Golden Tobacco studio in Mumbai. According to a recent report by Bollywood Hungama, the actor has been advised to take a one-month break to recover from a muscular injury.

A source close to the production revealed, “While exact details of the injury have been kept under wraps, Shah Rukh, along with his team, has travelled to the US for urgent medical attention. It’s nothing serious, but more of a muscular injury. Over the years, Shah Rukh has injured multiple muscles in his body while performing stunts.”

Due to this unexpected development, the film’s shooting schedule has been delayed. The team had booked studios like Film City, Golden Tobacco, and YRF Studios for the July–August schedule. However, all bookings have been cancelled until further notice. The next phase of shooting is now expected to begin in September or October, depending on SRK’s recovery.

King, one of the most awaited films of next year, boasts an ensemble cast including Abhishek Bachchan, Rani Mukerji, Deepika Padukone, Arshad Warsi, Anil Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Raghav Juyal, Jaideep Ahlawat, Saurabh Shukla, Abhay Verma, and Shah Rukh’s daughter, Suhana Khan.
