Shah Rukh Khan Meets Cast of Sitaare Zameen Par on Set, Reveals Aamir Khan Called Him 'At Least 10 Times'

In the video, Shah Rukh shared, “Aamir has been calling me again and again to visit the cast. Just three days ago, he told me, ‘Shah, tu ana yaar!’” SRK finally obliged and visited the set to cheer on the young cast, many of whom are debuting actors with special needs. The superstar made the moment unforgettable by performing his iconic arms-wide-open pose and posing for group pictures with the team.

Sitaare Zameen Par introduces ten fresh faces—Aroush Datta, Gopi Krishna Varma, Samvit Desai, Vedant Sharma, Ayush Bhansali, Ashish Pendse, Rishi Shahani, Rishabh Jain, Naman Mishra, and Simran Mangeshkar. The film is a Hindi adaptation of the Spanish sports comedy Campeones and features Aamir Khan as a basketball coach mentoring a team of specially-abled players.
Also starring Genelia D’Souza, the film is touted as a spiritual successor to Taare Zameen Par and is directed by RS Prasanna.

The film is set to hit theatres on June 20, 2025. While early box office projections suggest a modest opening, this heartfelt gesture by Shah Rukh Khan has given the film some much-needed buzz ahead of its release.
