Shah Rukh Khan on ‘Dunki’:”Want to end year with film for me”

Actor Shah Rukh Khan stated that he hopes to wrap up 2023 with the Rajkumar Hirani-directed picture Dunki. The actor has been promoting the movie, in which Taapsee Pannu is also a star. Fans of Khan are excitedly awaiting the release of his next movie, “Dunki,” and the celebrity recently attended a lavish event in Dubai. He discussed his films “Pathaan” and “Dunki,” as well as how much he looks forward to his next project.
At Dubai’s Global Village, he seized the spotlight and commanded the audience. He travelled there to advertise “Dunki,” his next movie. King Khan captivated the audience with his rendition of the song “Jhoome Jo Pathaan.” He said thank you to his fans for coming out.

He stated, “I made ‘Jawan’ fir maine socha maine ladke ladkiyu ke liye bana di apane liye kuch nahy banayi fir maine ‘Dunki’ bana di,” in reference to his movie. “Yeah, meri vaali film hai jo mere dil ke bahut kareeb hai..’Pathaan’ was always a girl’s first choice for a lady, and I want to close the year with a film for myself.” Khan added that he hopes the movie will make viewers feel “between giggles and laughter” and a sense of love for their family and country.

He added, “I’m not sure.” Raju Hirani hasn’t directed a film like this before. Saab ne bhi kabhi aesi film nahi banai. After watching the movie for the first time, we thought it was a timeless love story involving Raju Hirani. (After watching the movie, we assumed Hirani had created an enduring love tale.)”
Khan described the movie as “touching” and claimed that Hirani had never made a picture quite like it in a recent interview. Additionally, he said that the word “donkey” in Punjabi is where the movie got its name.

“This is a really moving movie. I believe that even though Raju Hirani is not very strong, he still acts. I believe that both of these sequences have the same hue. In addition to having action that Rajkumar Hirani has never done before, it is a love story. Many of the sequences I believe I haven’t completed. All of that is true, but Raju never uses the teasers and trailers to promote his movies. He wants people to enjoy themselves at the theatre. Thus, there will be a tonne of humour and love.” Additionally, a gigantic wheel at the Global Village hosted “Dunki” promotion. For his fans, King Khan strikes his trademark pose as well.

The ensemble cast of “Dunki” includes Shah Rukh Khan, Boman Irani, Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, Vikram Kochhar, and Anil Grover, who portray colourful characters. “Dunki,” a film presentation by Rajkumar Hirani Films, Red Chillies Entertainment, and JIO Studios, produced by Rajkumar Hirani and Gauri Khan.

The official Dunki trailer, titled “Dunki: Drop 4,” was recently released by the film’s creators and provides an insight into Rajkumar Hirani’s world. The tone of the upcoming adventure is set by the opening scene, which features SRK riding a train. Beginning with Hardy, played by SRK, who arrives in a picturesque Punjabi village and meets a group of lively friends—Manu, Sukhi, Buggu, and Balli—all of whom share the dream of travelling to London in search of better opportunities and a better life for their loved ones back home—the video unit introduces the whimsical characters. The movie “Dunki” will open in theatres on December 21.
