Shah Rukh Khan Talks About Upcoming Film ‘King’ and Overcoming Failures

Bollywood superstar reunites with ‘Pathaan’ director Siddharth Anand for an exciting new project, while sharing life lessons on resilience and self-improvement.

Dubai [UAE], January 27: Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan is deep into filming his highly anticipated project ‘King,’ which reunites him with ‘Pathaan’ director Siddharth Anand. During a recent fan interaction in Dubai, SRK shared his excitement for the project while remaining tight-lipped about specific details due to Anand’s instructions.

“I am just shooting it,” Shah Rukh said. “I will be shooting it for a couple of months. My director, Siddharth Anand, is very strict. He made Pathaan as well and has asked me not to reveal what we are doing. But I assure you, it will be entertaining, and you will enjoy it.”

Reports suggest that ‘King’ may feature Shah Rukh’s daughter Suhana Khan and Abhishek Bachchan, but an official announcement regarding the cast is still awaited. Initially, director Sujoy Ghosh was attached to helm the project before Siddharth Anand stepped in.

SRK’s Insights on Dealing with Failures

While attending the Global Freight Summit in Dubai last November, Shah Rukh Khan shared candid insights about handling professional and personal setbacks.

“When you fail, it’s important not to see it as something going wrong with your product, service, or job,” SRK explained. “Instead, introspect and understand the ecosystem. If I cannot elicit an emotion from my audience, it means my product didn’t connect, no matter how good it may be.”

Candid Reflections on Criticism

The superstar also admitted to being critical of his work. “Yes, I am. I hate feeling this way, and I cry a lot in my bathroom. But I don’t show it to anyone. You must believe the world is not against you,” Shah Rukh revealed, encouraging others to accept their mistakes and move forward.

“Moments of despair are inevitable, but you must push through. Blaming life or others won’t help. Life does what it does—you need to get up and keep going,” he added.

Looking Ahead

As fans eagerly await more details about ‘King,’ Shah Rukh’s reflections serve as a reminder of his humility and determination. His words resonate not just as advice for overcoming setbacks but also as inspiration to stay resilient and focused on growth.
