May 8, 2025: Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor recently made headlines after expressing his support for Operation Sindoor, a significant military operation carried out by the Indian Armed Forces. The operation, which took place in the early hours of May 7, targeted nine terror hideouts—four in Pakistan and five in Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir (PoK). This was a response to the tragic terror attack in Pahalgam, South Kashmir, on April 22, where 26 innocent men were brutally murdered after being asked their religion.

Following the news of the operation, several celebrities took to social media to express their admiration and gratitude towards the Indian Armed Forces.

Shahid Kapoor, too, was among the celebrities who voiced his support for the operation. He shared a powerful picture of a fighter jet on Instagram along with the caption, “India doesn’t provoke. But India never forgets. #operationsindoor.” The message was well-received by his followers, reflecting the sentiment of many Indians who felt proud of the nation’s military response.

However, within hours, Shahid Kapoor made a noticeable change to his post. The caption was altered, and it now simply reads, “🇮🇳 #operationsindoor,” without the original statement. Additionally, the actor disabled comments on the post, leaving fans puzzled as to why he took such a step.

While it’s unclear whether the decision was prompted by trolling or other online reactions, the change in Shahid’s post has generated speculation on social media. Some believe that the decision to remove the caption and disable comments could be linked to backlash, while others feel it may have been a personal choice to maintain neutrality in a sensitive matter.

Despite the alteration, Shahid Kapoor’s support for the Indian Armed Forces remains clear, and his post still serves as a reminder of the country’s military actions in response to the terror attack.
