
Shahid Kapoor's 'Deva' Gets New Release Date and Poster Reveal
Actor Shahid Kapoor is set to make Valentine’s Day 2025 extra special with his action thriller Deva. Shahid recently unveiled an exciting new poster of the film and announced the new release date on Instagram.
The poster showcases Shahid in an intense action mode, wearing a T-shirt with “POLICE” written on it, jeans, and holding a gun. The actor flaunts his toned physique and short hair, ready for a fight. Alongside the poster, he wrote, “Get ready for a VIOLENT VALENTINE’S DAY. DEVA, releasing in theaters on 14th Feb 2025!”
Fans and industry members quickly filled the comment section with excitement. Shahid’s brother, Ishaan Khatter, dropped fire emojis, and one user wrote, “Can’t wait.” Another commented, “Shahid Kapoor as a violent cop will be a delight to watch on the big screen.”
In Deva, Shahid plays a rebellious police officer delving into a high-profile case. As he digs deeper, he unravels a complex web of deceit and betrayal, embarking on a perilous journey of investigation. Pooja Hegde stars as a journalist and the film’s leading lady.
Last October, Shahid shared the first glimpse of the film, featuring him in a rugged look, dressed in a white shirt and trousers, sunglasses, and carrying a gun. He initially announced the film would release on Dussehra, October 11, 2024.
Directed by acclaimed Malayalam filmmaker Rosshan Andrrews and produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur, Deva promises to be an action-packed roller-coaster ride full of thrill and drama. Rosshan Andrrews is known for his work on Malayalam films like Salute and Kayamkulam Kochunni.
