Shalini Passi Reveals How Sanjay Passi’s Family Crashed a Wedding to Meet Her

October 28, 2024: Shalini Passi, who recently joined Netflix’s Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives, has added a spark both on the show and in the hearts of fans with her unique story. In a recent interview with Brut India, Shalini shared how her love story with businessman Sanjay Passi began, describing the moment when Sanjay’s family gatecrashed a wedding just to meet her.

Recalling the experience, Shalini said, “I was at my friend’s sister’s wedding when a couple of girls approached me, asking if I was married and if my parents would attend the mehendi. I told them that my parents would only come in the evening. Later, they informed their mother that they had found the perfect match for Sanjay bhaiya. That evening, Sanjay’s family came over to meet us. Though it was an arranged marriage, my husband is truly my universe.”

She further revealed her initial expectations, stating, “They came to the wedding to see me. I had made it clear I wanted someone who didn’t drink, smoke, or gamble, because I live the same way. Meeting Sanjay and his family was wonderful; they’re amazing people who share my values.”
