“She Was Too Young” — Priyanka Chopra Mourns Shefali Jariwala

June 29, 2025: Actress Priyanka Chopra has expressed her heartbreak over the untimely demise of actress and reality TV star Shefali Jariwala. Taking to her Instagram Stories, Priyanka shared a photo of Shefali along with a message that read:
“So shook. She was too young. Sending condolences to Parag and the family.”

Shefali, best known for her iconic appearance in the music video Kaanta Laga and later as a contestant on Bigg Boss 13, passed away late Friday night. She was rushed to Bellevue Multispeciality Hospital in Mumbai, where she was declared brought dead. While initial reports suggest cardiac arrest, the exact cause remains unconfirmed.

Several celebrities and fans are mourning her loss, with actor Varun Dhawan calling out the media’s insensitivity in covering the tragedy. On his Instagram, he wrote:
“Why do you have to cover someone’s grief? Everyone looks so uncomfortable… this isn’t the way someone would want their final journey covered.”

Shefali, 41, also starred in the film Mujhse Shaadi Karogi (2004) and appeared in popular reality shows like Nach Baliye alongside husband Parag Tyagi.
