In 2013, Shilpa Shetty faced public backlash after allegedly making objectionable comments about the underprivileged community during a television interview. Her remarks were deemed hurtful by members of the community, leading to an FIR being registered under the SC/ST Act. However, during a recent hearing, the Rajasthan High Court dismissed the FIR, citing a lack of substantial evidence against the actress. Shilpa’s legal representative, Prashant Patil, provided clarity on the matter. Interestingly, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan was present during the controversial 2013 interview alongside Shilpa Shetty. While the two share a well-known friendship, Salman’s name was not implicated in the case, and he faced no legal consequences in connection to the matter.
