October 13, 2024: In a candid interview with Hauterrfly, actress Mallika Sherawat opened up about a shocking and bizarre experience she had while filming a song for a South Indian film. The Murder actress recalled an interaction with the director that left her speechless.

“While I was doing a song in the South, the director approached me and said, ‘Madam, we want to show how hot you are.’ I said, ‘Okay, what’s the idea?’ He replied, ‘In this scene, the hero will prepare chapattis on your waist,’” Sherawat revealed, expressing her disbelief at such a strange concept. “Can you imagine? This was their idea of portraying a woman’s ‘hotness,’” she added.

Sherawat, who rose to fame with films like Murder and Khwahish, is set to return to the big screen in the upcoming film Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, starring Rajkummar Rao and Triptii Dimri.

In a separate interview, the actress also shared a disturbing experience involving one of her co-stars during a film shoot in Dubai. “I was shooting for a big multi-starrer film, which is a super hit and loved by many. One of the lead actors would knock on my door at midnight, almost breaking it down. He wanted to come into my bedroom, and I was firm in refusing. After that, the hero never worked with me again,” Sherawat recalled, shedding light on the harassment she faced.
