
**Shoojit Sircar Reminisces About His Theatre Days in Delhi on World Theatre Day**
March 27, 2025: On the occasion of World Theatre Day, filmmaker Shoojit Sircar took a nostalgic trip down memory lane, recalling his early theatre days in Delhi.
He shared a black-and-white photograph on Instagram from his time with the amateur theatre group ‘Act One,’ where he honed his skills and grew as a person.
In the heartfelt post, Shoojit Sircar expressed his gratitude to the group, specifically thanking his mentor, the legendary N K Sharma (Panditji). He also thanked Parthiv for sharing the cherished picture.
“Wishing all my fellow thespians a very Happy World Theatre Day!” he wrote, reminiscing about how the experiences shaped him and his filmmaking journey.
