Speaking candidly about her personal and professional life, she said, “I still live with my parents and my pets… and for me, it’s a blast. My journey in the film industry has been amazing, and I feel very blessed. My parents have seen me go through ups and downs, but I truly believe failure is essential for success. It’s the greatest teacher. I’m thankful for my support system, and I realize how fortunate I am, considering so many people dream of living this life.”
Shraddha also opened up about her father’s humble beginnings, explaining how his story continues to inspire her. “My dad came from a non-filmy family. His journey from Delhi to Mumbai is incredible. He worked at a travel agency but always dreamt of becoming an actor. He boarded a train to Bombay, and the rest is history. His journey reminds me to stay grounded because he truly built his career from scratch.”
Discussing her career and the evolving film industry, Shraddha revealed that she is earning more now than when she started 14 years ago. “There’s definitely been a rise in my earnings, but the issue of pay parity still exists, though I feel like it’s slowly changing,” she noted. When asked about actors’ rising remuneration, Shraddha said, “Ultimately, the producers make the call. Their vision for a project drives decisions, and some have a clear, long-term perspective on where the industry is headed. There’s no uniform approach everyone follows.”
