Shreyas Talpade and Tusshar Kapoor’s Horror-Comedy Kapkapiii Trailer Out Now, Film Hits Theatres on May 23

May 14, 2025 : The trailer for the upcoming horror-comedy Kapkapiii, starring Shreyas Talpade and Tusshar Kapoor, was released on Wednesday, offering a sneak peek into a spooky yet hilarious cinematic ride.

Tusshar Kapoor shared the trailer on his X account with the caption, “They thought it was just a game… the spirits had other plans. In this trying month, we all need some laughs! #Kapkapiii #KapkapiiiTrailer Out Now #KapkapiiiOn23May ONLY IN CINEMAS.”

The two-minute-and-33-second trailer opens with a group of friends trying out an Ouija board for fun, but the situation quickly spirals into a chilling series of supernatural events, blending scares with comic relief.

Produced by Jayesh Patel and Umesh Kumar Bansal under Bravo Entertainment and presented by Zee Studios, the film is penned by Saurabh Anand and Kumar Priyadarshi.

Reflecting on the film, Shreyas Talpade said in a press statement, “As the name suggests, Kapkapiii is about goosebumps—the kind you get right before the fear really sets in. It’s one of the best horror comedies by Sangeeth Sivan sir.” He paid tribute to the late director, calling him a “father-like figure” and praised his unique filmmaking style.

Tusshar Kapoor also shared his experience, saying, “Kapkapiii has a very realistic setting with highly relatable characters. The horror revolves around an Ouija board—an area rarely explored in Hindi films.”

Kapkapiii is set to release in cinemas on May 23.
