The upcoming action thriller Yudhra has been generating buzz ever since its announcement, and the excitement has only intensified with the release of new posters featuring the film’s stars, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Malavika Mohanan. The makers recently unveiled these posters along with the film’s release date, setting the stage for a highly anticipated cinematic experience.
Producer Farhan Akhtar shared the new posters on X (formerly Twitter), revealing that Yudhra will hit theaters on September 20, 2024. The first poster showcases Siddhant Chaturvedi in a fierce and intense avatar, a side of the actor that fans have never seen before. Clad in a blood-stained shirt, Siddhant holds a lollipop in one hand and a gun in the other, exuding a mix of anger and determination.
The second poster introduces the fresh pairing of Siddhant and Malavika Mohanan, both of whom are seen covered in blood, adding to the intrigue surrounding the film. The chemistry between the two actors promises to be a highlight of the movie.
Farhan Akhtar captioned the post, “Anger has a new name. #Yudhra coming to screens near you on 20th September.”
To prepare for his action-heavy role, Siddhant underwent rigorous training in mixed martial arts (MMA), kickboxing, and jiu-jitsu. The film also marks Malavika Mohanan’s debut in Hindi cinema, adding to the anticipation.
Directed by Ravi Udyawar and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar under the banner of Excel Entertainment, Yudhra is touted as a romantic-action thriller that promises to deliver high-octane drama and thrilling sequences.
In addition to Yudhra, Siddhant Chaturvedi is set to star in the much-anticipated Dhadak 2 opposite Triptii Dimri. Announced by Karan Johar in May, the film will explore love and societal norms, with Siddhant navigating a love story that challenges class barriers. Dhadak 2 is directed by Shazia Iqbal and is scheduled for release on November 22, 2024.
