Siddharth Anand Meets Gurudev For White

Filmmaker discusses peace-driven global thriller with Sri Sri Ravi Shankar

January 21, 2026: In a significant meeting on January 20, blockbuster filmmaker Siddharth Anand met global spiritual leader Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar along with producer Mahaveer Jain. While Anand and Gurudev have interacted several times earlier, this meeting stood out for its deeper focus on the filmmaker’s upcoming international thriller White. The discussion took place in an atmosphere of reflection and vision, centred on the film’s core theme of peace and non-violence on a global scale.

White, starring National Award winner Vikrant Massey alongside an international cast, is inspired by the true story of Colombia’s 52-year-long civil conflict and its historic resolution through peaceful means. Sharing his thoughts after the meeting, Siddharth Anand said the film reflects the strength of Indian values in a divided world. He described White as a story that goes beyond one individual, highlighting India’s philosophical influence globally, and added that Gurudev’s presence reinforced the film’s message about the true power of peace.

Backed by Siddharth Anand and Mahaveer Jain, White is directed by Montoo Bassi and co-produced by Concious Studios, PeaceCraft Pictures and BroadVision, with South American production house Jaguar Bite as a co-production partner. The English-Spanish bilingual film has completed major shooting schedules in Colombia and India and features Narcos cinematographer Juan Carlos Gil. The meeting also saw several prominent film industry figures interact with Gurudev, underlining the project’s significance ahead of its planned worldwide release in 2026.
