May 5, 2025: Sidharth Malhotra continues to prove why he’s the husband many dream of, flying all the way to New York City to stand by his pregnant wife, Kiara Advani, as she prepares for her highly anticipated debut at the 2025 MET Gala.
On Sunday, the actor took to his Instagram Stories to share glimpses of his time in the city. In one photo, Sidharth showed off the breathtaking NYC skyline while enjoying a drink, captioning it with “Gym time #hydrate.” He also shared a clip of himself hitting the gym for a “leg day” workout, keeping his fans updated on his routine.
Meanwhile, Kiara, who arrived in New York on Saturday, shared a sweet moment from her hotel room. The image showed a beautifully arranged table with a vase of pink roses, chocolates, and a cake shaped like a mannequin dressed in a black gown and pearls—an elegant nod to the upcoming Met Gala. A booklet titled The MET Gala, featuring the iconic Met steps, was also visible in the photo.

Kiara’s debut at the Met Gala comes after an impressive start to her international career, with her appearance at Cannes in 2024. Her presence at the Met will undoubtedly add to her growing global appeal, following in the footsteps of fellow Bollywood stars like Alia Bhatt, Deepika Padukone, and Priyanka Chopra, who have all made their mark at the fashion event.
The couple, who announced their pregnancy in February 2025 with an adorable post featuring tiny baby socks, have remained mostly private since. Their love story began on the sets of Shershaah, and in February 2023, they tied the knot in a beautiful ceremony in Rajasthan.
