May 16, 2025: Brace yourself for a mystical cinematic journey — ‘VVAN’, the much-talked-about folk thriller starring Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia, is officially set to hit the big screens on May 15, 2026.
Announcing the date with a striking new poster, Balaji Telefilms posted on Instagram: “The forest has whispered. The force will be unleashed on 15th May 2026! Get ready for the big screen adventure!”
Set against the dense, mystical backdrop of Central India’s forests, VVAN dives into a world of ancient myths, forgotten temples, and raw adventure. Shot entirely on real forest locations, the film blends folklore with suspense, offering an immersive storytelling experience.
Directed by Deepak Mishra and Arunabh Kumar, and produced by Ekta Kapoor, the project is a collaboration between Balaji Motion Pictures and The Viral Fever (TVF). It also marks the first on-screen collaboration between Malhotra and Bhatia, adding fresh anticipation for audiences.
Fans got their first sneak peek earlier through a gripping teaser showcasing the eerie and enigmatic tone of the film.
Meanwhile, Sidharth Malhotra will also be seen in the romantic comedy ‘Param Sundari’, alongside Janhvi Kapoor, slated to release on July 25, 2025.
