The singer’s mother, Charan Kaur, has had a strong and emotional reaction to the horrible incident. The Lawrence Bishnoi gang is said to have taken credit for it.
Charan Kaur went on Instagram to criticize the conduct, saying it was a “wound to her soul” and an attack on her son’s memory. She stated in an emotional post, “My son was the voice of the people’s rights, and even after he went to the Almighty, they are trying to silence him.” She promised that her son’s “movement” would go on and that justice would be done.
