Sikandar Advance Booking Day 1: Salman Khan’s Eid Release Starts Slow, Earns ₹1.13 Crore

Salman Khan’s much-anticipated Eid release Sikandar has officially opened its advance booking window across India, and within just a few hours, over 42,000 tickets were sold, raking in ₹1.13 crore in Hindi 2D collections. Including block seats, total ticket value has already surpassed ₹5.01 crore, setting the stage for a large-scale theatrical rollout with 7,952 shows scheduled nationwide.

According to trade tracker Sacnilk, the film has seen the strongest early response in Delhi (₹21.84 lakh), followed by Maharashtra (₹20.39 lakh) and Rajasthan (₹13.33 lakh). However, ticket sales in Himachal Pradesh remain sluggish with just 1,150 tickets booked so far.
While Sikandar has witnessed a modest start, distributors remain optimistic. PVR INOX CEO Gautam Dutta called the film a “grand celebration,” citing its perfect mix of “action, emotion, and inspiring storytelling.” He added, “With Salman returning after a year and Rashmika riding high on hits like Pushpa 2 and Chhaava, we expect Sikandar to collect around ₹50 crore over its opening weekend.”
Salman Khan himself recently created a stir by stating, “Film acchi ho ya buri, festive ya non-festive… Sikandar will cross ₹200 crore.”
Directed by AR Murugadoss and produced by Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and Salman Khan Films, Sikandar also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Anjini Dhawan, and Kajal Aggarwal. The film is slated for release on March 30, 2025, and is expected to dominate the box office in the upcoming festive weekend.
