Sikandar Box Office Day 23: Salman Khan’s Action Flick Slides to ₹6 Lakh, Still Trails Ajay Devgn’s 2024 Blockbuster
Salman Khan’s much-hyped action drama Sikandar is now officially among Bollywood’s biggest underperformers of 2025. Despite a mega-budget of ₹200 crore and a promising ensemble featuring Rashmika Mandanna, the film has failed to deliver the kind of box office thunder typically associated with a Salman Khan release.
As of Day 23, Sikandar has collected only ₹6 lakh in India on its fourth Monday, mirroring the dip seen the previous Friday. With this, its total domestic net stands at ₹129.75 crore, and the worldwide gross has reached approximately ₹153.10 crore.

Though Sikandar has managed to edge past Stree in the box office charts, it still lags behind Ajay Devgn’s 2024 hit and remains stuck at the 82nd position among the top 100 highest-grossing Hindi films in India. Its next milestone, Rowdy Rathore (₹131 crore), remains a stretch given the film’s current trajectory.
What was expected to be a major crowd-puller has unfortunately turned into a cautionary tale of how star power alone cannot guarantee box office gold. Despite some praise for its scale and action sequences, Sikandar has largely failed to connect with the masses and critics alike.
With the numbers now steadily dwindling, surpassing Rowdy Rathore will be a tough ask—let alone climbing higher in the rankings or achieving break-even status.
