“Singham Again” Roars Past ₹100 Crore Worldwide in Just Two Days: Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty’s Cop Universe Triumphs

November 3, 2024: “Singham Again” continues to dominate the box office, solidifying its position as a Diwali blockbuster. The latest entry in Rohit Shetty’s Cop Universe had a powerful start on Friday, raking in an impressive ₹43.50 crore in India. While Saturday saw a slight dip, the film still earned a solid ₹41.50 crore, bringing its two-day domestic total to ₹85 crore.

According to industry sources, Singham Again has now crossed the ₹100 crore mark globally, only two days after its release. The film is expected to surpass ₹200 crore in global gross by Monday morning, setting the stage for a stellar opening weekend.

The film, which marks the third instalment in the Singham series, stars Ajay Devgn reprising his iconic role as the no-nonsense cop, Bajirao Singham. It also features cameos from Ranveer Singh and Akshay Kumar, who appear as their characters from Simmba and Sooryavanshi, respectively, creating an exciting crossover in Shetty’s Cop Universe. New faces, including Deepika Padukone and Tiger Shroff, add fresh energy to the film, while Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor enhance the star-studded ensemble. Salman Khan’s surprise cameo has also drawn fans in large numbers.

Thanks to Shetty’s signature high-octane action sequences and the star power of its ensemble cast, Singham Again enjoyed excellent occupancy rates, hitting 65% across India and peaking at 76% in evening shows on Friday. The Diwali holiday boost has contributed significantly to its record-breaking opening.

As the film heads into Sunday, its box office potential appears limitless. However, the real test for Singham Again will come on Monday, as it faces the post-weekend and post-festive period drop. If it holds strong, this film could signify the return of the Bollywood mass action blockbuster, following in the footsteps of Jawan from last September.
