November 3, 2024: Both Ajay Devgn’s Singham Again and Kartik Aaryan’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 kicked off their Diwali releases with impressive box office numbers, drawing in huge crowds due to the festive holiday. However, Singham Again, bolstered by Rohit Shetty’s direction and an ensemble cast, currently holds a slight lead at the box office.
On Day 2, Singham Again earned an estimated ₹41.5 crore, while Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 closely followed with ₹36.50 crore. This brings Singham Again‘s two-day total to ₹85 crore, with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 trailing at an estimated ₹72 crore, according to Sacnilk.

Both movies are the latest installments in well-loved franchises, each bringing its unique appeal. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has captivated audiences with its horror-comedy charm and the return of Vidya Balan as the iconic Manjulika. Meanwhile, Singham Again benefits from a star-studded lineup featuring cameo appearances by Salman Khan and Tiger Shroff, enhancing its appeal across various age groups.
The success of these films has brought a sense of optimism to exhibitors and trade experts who are hopeful that these high-profile releases will help them recover from the seasonal slump. With Singham Again occupying 60% of theater screens and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 taking the remaining 40%, both films are strategically positioned for sustained success.
In an interview with ANI, film trade analyst Taran Adarsh expressed his hopes for a “blockbuster” outcome for both movies. “Both films are doing great. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 offers horror-comedy, while Singham Again brings a cop drama. They provide different flavors of entertainment,” Adarsh said. He even hinted at the possibility of a joint success party if both films continue to perform well.
