‘Sirens Trailer’: Meghann Fahy Confronts Julianne Moore in Netflix’s Twisted Dark Comedy

April 26, 2025: Netflix has unveiled the trailer for Sirens, its upcoming five-episode dark comedy series starring Meghann Fahy, Julianne Moore, and Milly Alcock. Created by Emmy-nominated writer Molly Smith Metzler (Maid), the limited series dives into complicated sisterhood, elite privilege, and the unsettling dynamics of power.

Based on Metzler’s stage play Elemeno Pea, Sirens centers on Devon DeWitt (played by Fahy), a witty and protective older sister who believes her younger sister Simone (Alcock) is caught in an unhealthy relationship with her ultra-wealthy boss Michaela “Kiki” Kell (Moore). The trailer hints at a disturbing world of high-society luxury and blurred boundaries, where Devon’s suspicions lead her to intervene—only to discover just how formidable and manipulative Kiki can be.

The tension begins to unravel when Devon arrives at Kiki’s island mansion, prompted by news of their father’s dementia and Simone’s indifferent response—sending only a fruit basket. What she finds is a cult-like world where Simone appears entranced by the billionaire lifestyle and her enigmatic employer.

Moore plays Kiki as a sharp, poised philanthropist and animal activist who reigns over island high society and is married to billionaire Peter Kell, portrayed by Kevin Bacon. Kiki’s relationship with Simone teeters on the edge of mentorship and manipulation, adding layers of mystery and psychological intrigue.

Fahy’s Devon is described as funny, resilient, and deeply loyal—particularly to her sister. Alcock’s Simone, on the other hand, is portrayed as bright and charming, having seemingly hit the jackpot as Kiki’s personal assistant.

The cast also includes Glenn Howerton, Felix Solis, and Bill Camp. Nicole Kassell (Watchmen) directs the first two episodes, bringing her Emmy-nominated vision to the stylish yet unsettling atmosphere of the series.

Produced by LuckyChap Entertainment—founded by Margot Robbie along with Tom Ackerley and Dani Gorin—Sirens promises to be a captivating mix of family drama, social satire, and psychological suspense.

Sirens premieres soon on Netflix, offering a look at what happens when loyalty, power, and ambition collide behind closed doors.
