Sitaare Zameen Par Box Office Day 13: Aamir Khan’s Film Collects This Much, Maintains Steady Run Before Metro…In Dino Clash

Despite mid-week dips, the emotional sports drama directed by RS Prasanna continues its slow and steady box office journey with a strong ₹132.90 crore haul in 13 days.

Mumbai, July 3, 2025 – Aamir Khan’s emotional sports drama Sitaare Zameen Par has continued its consistent run at the box office, crossing the ₹130 crore milestone on Day 13 of its theatrical journey. The film, which tackles themes of inclusivity and perseverance, saw a slight dip in collections but is still holding strong in major metros.

Box Office Collection Day 13

According to early estimates from industry tracker Sacnilk, Sitaare Zameen Par earned ₹2.75 crore on Wednesday, bringing its total domestic collection to ₹132.90 crore.

This marks a 26.67% drop from Tuesday’s earnings, reflecting the usual mid-week slowdown. Despite the dip, the film continues to lead in regions like Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Pune, and Ahmedabad.

Day 13 Occupancy Report

Overall Hindi occupancy stood at 10.69% on Wednesday:

  • Morning Shows: 8.51%
  • Afternoon Shows: 10.19%
  • Evening Shows: 11.70%
  • Night Shows: 12.34%

The film was also released in Tamil and Telugu, expanding its reach beyond the Hindi-speaking market.

About the Film

Directed by RS Prasanna, Sitaare Zameen Par is a spiritual sequel to Taare Zameen Par. The story follows Aamir Khan as a basketball coach, who is assigned to train a team of neurodivergent children after being involved in a legal case. The film also stars Genelia D’Souza and introduces 10 debut actors with neurodivergent conditions, celebrating diversity and inclusion on screen.


Special Screening for Special Guests

On Wednesday, a special screening of the film was held in Mumbai, attended by Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Amruta Fadnavis. The event was organised for specially-abled students, aligning with the film’s core message of empathy and empowerment.

Sitaare Zameen Par is gearing up for a major box office face-off with Anurag Basu’s ensemble drama Metro…In Dino, which stars Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Pankaj Tripathi, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Fatima Sana Shaikh, and others.

While Sitaare is closing in on the end of its second week, the upcoming release could impact its third-weekend momentum.
