
Sitaare Zameen Par Box Office Day 9: Aamir Khan's Film Soars with 102% Jump, Eyes ₹100 Crore Mark
June 29, 2025: Aamir Khan’s latest release Sitaare Zameen Par is showing no signs of slowing down. Despite competition from Kajol’s Maa, the sports drama witnessed an astonishing 102% jump in BookMyShow (BMS) ticket sales on its ninth day — the second Saturday of its release.
Compared to Friday’s tally of 35.3K tickets, the film sold 71.3K tickets by 2 PM on Saturday. By 6 PM, ticket sales had crossed 127K, with an average booking of 12K tickets per hour. The film also recorded a strong 25% occupancy, indicating solid audience turnout throughout the day.

By 7 PM, industry trackers estimate that Sitaare Zameen Par earned between ₹7 – ₹8 crore on Saturday alone. The film is now rapidly approaching the ₹100 crore milestone, making it a potential box office hit in the coming days.
