According to trade estimates, Sitaare Zameen Par may open in the range of ₹7–9 crore on day one—decent, but not spectacular for an Aamir Khan film. Its performance will heavily depend on word-of-mouth and upcoming promotions, as the current buzz is not enough to guarantee a blockbuster opening.

Verdict: Cautious Optimism or Trouble Ahead?

With underwhelming trailer reception, online backlash, and high stakes riding on it, Sitaare Zameen Par will need strong content and glowing reviews to gain momentum. Aamir Khan fans are hoping this marks his return to form—but it’s clear that the road ahead is far from smooth.
