After a soaring weekend collection, Akshay Kumar and Veer Pahariya’s action-drama sees a sharp decline in earnings on its first Monday.

January 28, 2025: Akshay Kumar and Veer Pahariya’s much-anticipated action film Sky Force had a remarkable debut weekend at the Indian box office, buoyed by the Republic Day holiday. The movie earned ₹12.25 crore on Friday, followed by ₹22 crore on Saturday, and an impressive ₹27.50 crore on Sunday. However, the momentum took a significant hit on its first Monday, with earnings dropping to ₹6.25 crore.

According to early estimates from Sacnilk.com, the film’s total domestic box office collection now stands at ₹68.50 crore. The producers reported a gross weekend collection of ₹86.40 crore across India and ₹92.90 crore globally, underscoring its initial appeal in international markets as well.

Despite the Monday dip, industry analysts are optimistic about the film’s potential to maintain a steady pace in the coming days, suggesting it could still cross the ₹100 crore mark in its theatrical run.

About Sky Force:

Co-directed by Sandeep Kelwani and Abhishek Kapur, Sky Force marks the acting debut of Veer Pahariya. The story revolves around IAF officer T. Vijaya (played by Pahariya), who goes missing during the 1965 India-Pakistan War. Akshay Kumar plays KO Ahuja, a fellow IAF officer who embarks on a daring mission to bring him back.

The ensemble cast features Sara Ali Khan and Nimrat Kaur in pivotal roles, adding emotional depth to the film’s narrative of valor, sacrifice, and camaraderie.
