The 1965 war drama, featuring Akshay Kumar and Veer Pahariya, continues its strong run at the box office, eyeing the Rs 100 crore milestone this weekend.

Directed by Sandeep Kewlani and Abhishek Anil Kapur, the war drama Sky Force starring Akshay Kumar and Veer Pahariya has maintained a steady pace at the box office. On its 8th day, the film earned ₹2.56 crore net in India, bringing its total India net collection to ₹89.06 crore. With strong momentum, the film is expected to surpass the ₹100 crore mark domestically over the weekend.

The film’s overall Hindi occupancy rate on Day 8 stood at 11.22%. Globally, Sky Force has already crossed ₹100 crore, achieving a worldwide gross of ₹111.5 crore by the end of Day 7.

Storyline and Cast

Sky Force, set against the backdrop of the 1965 India-Pakistan War, chronicles the journey of Indian Air Force officer T Vijaya (played by Veer Pahariya), who goes missing in action. Akshay Kumar plays KO Ahuja, a determined officer on a mission to rescue Vijaya. The film is a blend of patriotism, action, and emotional drama.

Sara Ali Khan and Nimrat Kaur also play pivotal roles, adding depth to the narrative. The film is made on a substantial budget of ₹160 crore, showcasing high-end production and gripping wartime sequences.
