According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the film has been living up to expectations, resonating with audiences eager for its compelling narrative based on true events.

Sky Force chronicles India’s first airstrike during the 1965 Indo-Pakistani War, a defining moment in the country’s military history. The story follows Wing Commander K.O. Ahuja, portrayed by Akshay Kumar, and T. Vijaya, played by debutant Veer Pahariya. The film celebrates the courage of the Indian Air Force and highlights the valor that changed the course of the war.

On its opening day, the film earned an estimated ₹3.63 crore from 2D Hindi screenings and ₹14 lakh from IMAX 2D shows. With approximately 160,740 tickets sold in advance bookings, the first-day collection was projected to reach ₹5.42 crore, factoring in blocked seats.
