Sky Force Trailer Unveiled: Akshay Kumar Leads India’s First Airstrike in a Thrilling Patriotic Saga

Set for release on January 24, 2025, Sky Force promises breathtaking aerial action, emotional depth, and a tribute to India’s brave soldiers, starring Akshay Kumar, Veer Pahariya, and Sara Ali Khan.

Mumbai, January 5: The highly anticipated trailer for ‘Sky Force’, starring Akshay Kumar and debutant Veer Pahariya, has been officially released by Jio Studios and Maddock Films. Scheduled to hit cinemas on January 24, 2025, just ahead of Republic Day, the film promises to be a patriotic action thriller brimming with intensity, sacrifice, and national pride.

Directed by Sandeep Kewlani and Abhishek Kapur, Sky Force tells the gripping tale of India’s first-ever and deadliest airstrike against Pakistan. Akshay Kumar plays a fearless Indian Air Force (IAF) officer who challenges bureaucratic hesitation and leads his team into an operation that reshaped military history.

In a powerful moment from the trailer, Akshay delivers a hard-hitting dialogue:
“Doosra gaal neta dikhate hai, hum fauji nahi.” (Another cheek is extended by political leaders, not soldiers.)

Veer Pahariya, making his Bollywood debut, portrays a young and passionate IAF officer who partners with Akshay’s character on this daring mission. The narrative takes an emotional turn when Veer’s aircraft is shot down, leaving his character ‘missing in action.’

Adding to the emotional weight of the story is Sara Ali Khan, playing Veer’s wife, whose anguish and resilience add layers of depth to the narrative. Nimrat Kaur also stars in a crucial role, further elevating the film’s ensemble cast.

Producer’s Vision and Insights:

Speaking about the project, Dinesh Vijan, founder of Maddock Films, said:
“Sky Force is not just a film; it’s a heartfelt tribute to the unwavering commitment of our nation’s soldiers. With Akshay Kumar leading the way and Veer Pahariya marking his debut, this film promises to leave a lasting impact on the audience.”

Jyoti Deshpande, President of Media and Content Business at Reliance Industries, added:
“Sky Force shines light on a crucial yet untold chapter of India’s history. This film honors the sacrifices of our unsung heroes and celebrates the indomitable spirit of our armed forces.”

Akshay Kumar’s Message to Fans:

Akshay Kumar shared the trailer on social media with the caption:
“This Republic Day, witness the untold story of a heroic sacrifice – the tale of India’s first and deadliest airstrike. Mission #SkyForce – In Cinemas 24th January 2025. #SkyForceTrailer is out now.”

The trailer showcases spectacular aerial combat sequences, heart-pounding drama, and a soul-stirring narrative that underscores the bravery and sacrifice of the Indian Air Force.

With a pulsating soundtrack, impressive visuals, and high-octane action, Sky Force is set to be a cinematic tribute to India’s military prowess.
