Snoop Dogg Says He Only Collaborates With Brands That Support His Community
April 18, 2025: Snoop Dogg is making it clear that when it comes to collaborations, he’s not just about the money — he’s about making a difference.
In a recent interview reported by Billboard, the legendary rapper and actor opened up about his approach to partnerships, emphasizing that any brand or company he works with must also contribute to community upliftment.
“You can pay me, but that ain’t all we are doing,” Snoop said. “We gonna make sure you take care of this community initiative that I have. It could be silent or it could be loud, but that’s a part of the deal as well.”
Snoop further clarified his stance on how these deals are often framed, adding, “The way you framing it, with all due respect, is like I’ll do anything. I want you to frame it like I’ll do anything if I own the brand. That’s a big difference.”
On the music front, Snoop Dogg has been keeping busy. He recently teamed up with country singer Ernest for a new track titled “Gettin’ Gone”, which dropped on April 9. The song was co-written by Snoop, Ernest, Ben Hayslip, Rhett Akins, and Mark Holman, and produced by Jacob Durrett.
And that’s not all — Snoop is also set to return to his spiritual roots with a new gospel album titled Altar Call, scheduled for release on April 27.
From music to meaningful partnerships, Snoop Dogg continues to blend business, art, and activism in a way that’s uniquely his own.
