Soha Ali Khan Reveals Mom Sharmila Tagore Was the Family’s Breadwinner, Recalls Cricketer Dad Mansoor’s Only Played Cricket

Actor Soha Ali Khan, currently promoting her upcoming horror sequel Chhorii 2, recently shared a deeply personal insight into her family dynamics, highlighting the incredible influence of her parents — legendary actor Sharmila Tagore and former Indian cricket captain Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi.

Speaking to Just Too Filmy, Soha revealed, “There was no money at all in cricket when my father played — no IPL, no endorsements. He played purely for the love of the game.” She emphasized that despite his fame, her father wasn’t driven by material success.


👑 Sharmila Tagore: The Family’s True Provider

Soha credited her mother, Sharmila Tagore, as the primary breadwinner in the family, calling her an inspiration who broke societal norms. “At 24, she got married and had a child soon after, but she continued to act — achieving some of her biggest career highs post-marriage,” Soha shared.
