March 18, 2025: Actor and producer Sohum Shah recently took to social media to express his heartfelt gratitude to the audience for the love and support shown towards his latest thriller, Crazxy. In his emotional note, he thanked the viewers for their immense appreciation, which he says has given him the strength and motivation to continue creating unique and bold cinema.
He shared a post on Instagram, writing, "Our hearts are full of gratitude for the immense love you've shown our film. Taking a bold leap with a small film like 'Crazxy' was a decision rooted in passion, and your response has given us the strength to continue crafting new, unique cinema. Thank you for your unwavering support, your staunch belief, and your boundless love. See you soon again at the movies."
Earlier in March, Sohum Shah, who also served as the producer of Crazxy, made a bold move in response to audience feedback. After receiving comments about the film’s climax, Sohum decided to tweak it in order to provide a more thrilling, immersive, and insightful cinematic experience for the viewers. He made the announcement on his Instagram handle, stating, "Making films is only half the journey — your love completes it. The overwhelming support for Crazxy has been truly humbling. We can tell these stories because of audiences like you, who stand by us and inspire us. Many of you shared that you wanted more from the climax. We hear you. To make your cinematic experience better, more immersive, thrilling, and insightful, we've tweaked the climax a little bit with a little surprise thrown in too — catch the new version in cinemas starting this Friday."
Crazzzzy, directed by Girish Kohli, was produced by Sohum Shah, Mukesh Shah, Amita Shah, and Adesh Prasad, with Ankit Jain serving as co-producer. The film, which was released in cinemas on February 28 this year, has made waves for its gripping storyline and unexpected twists. The positive reception from the audience has reaffirmed Sohum’s belief in taking risks and embracing unique storytelling.
Fans are eagerly anticipating the new version of Crazxy, which is now in theaters with the enhanced climax.
