June 26, 2025: The much-awaited sequel to the 2012 comedy blockbuster Son of Sardaar is officially on its way.
On Thursday, the makers of Son of Sardaar 2 dropped the teaser, and it promises a wild, laughter-packed ride with Ajay Devgn reprising his iconic role as the fun-loving and fearless Jassi. This time, Mrunal Thakur steps in as the female lead, adding fresh chemistry and energy to the Punjabi madness.
Directed by Vijay Kumar Arora and produced under the banners of Jio Studios and Devgn Films, Son of Sardaar 2 shifts its chaos from Indian heartlands to the scenic streets of Scotland. The teaser offers a sneak peek at high-octane action, quirky one-liners, and a generous dose of nostalgia — including Ajay Devgn’s iconic split entry between two vehicles, echoing his debut in Phool Aur Kaante.
Also spotted is Kubbra Sait, bringing the energy as she dances in full Punjabi fervour on the streets. The teaser wraps up with a cheeky one-liner — “Paaji, kabhi hass bhi liya karo” — capturing the movie’s tone of humor and heartfelt fun.
Adding to the emotional layer, the teaser marks the final screen appearance of Mukul Dev, who appears in what fans are calling a “memorable and respectful farewell.” Comments flooded social media with tributes and excitement:
