Sonakshi Sinha Reveals SRK’s Heartwarming Voice Note on Her Wedding Day

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan wasn’t able to attend the wedding reception of Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal, but he made the couple feel special with a heartfelt voice note.

On Tuesday, Sonakshi took to Instagram to share this touching gesture from SRK, revealing that he sent them an audio message on their wedding day. She posted a photo where she and Zaheer are seen listening to SRK’s voice note.

She began her caption with, “A wedding can be chaotic… but you have to steal those moments in between, that will stay with you forever.” She then shared separate captions for each photo, noting how they created their own music and cherished special moments during the wedding photoshoot.

For the third photo, she wrote, “Pic 5: listening to a voice note from his all-time favorite SRK (see pic 1 for reference), sending us both so much love and good wishes for the big day… I think this was the highlight of @iamzahero’s day.”

Fans reacted warmly to SRK’s gesture, with comments like “SRK knows best how to make someone feel special” and “Wow…SRK is the best.”

In her post, Sonakshi also mentioned she was ready before Zaheer and teared up when she saw herself wearing sindoor for the first time. “Pic 6&7: ever heard of a bride who got ready before her groom? No?? Well, here you go. Bride also cried looking at herself in Sindoor for the first time!” she wrote.

Sonakshi and Zaheer got married on June 23 in an intimate ceremony at their Mumbai residence, followed by a wedding bash at Bastian with numerous Bollywood celebrities in attendance, including Salman Khan, Vidya Balan with Siddharth Roy Kapur, and veteran actress Saira Banu.

The couple, who have been together for seven years, shared glimpses of their wedding on social media. Sonakshi expressed her joy in a heartfelt Instagram post, reflecting on their journey of love and togetherness: “On this very day, seven years back (23.06.2017) in each other’s eyes, we saw love in its purest form and decided to hold on to it. Today that love has guided us through all the challenges and triumphs… leading up to this moment… where with the blessings of both our families and both our gods… we are now man and wife. Here’s to love, hope and all things beautiful with each other, from now until forever. Sonakshi Zaheer 23.06.2024.”

Meanwhile, on the work front, Sonakshi will be seen in ‘Kakuda’, directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, set to release on ZEE5 on July 12. The film also stars Riteish Deshmukh and Saqib Saleem.
