Sonakshi Sinha’s Character Poster Unveiled for Horror Comedy ‘Kakuda’

The excitement for the upcoming horror-comedy ‘Kakuda’ has reached new heights with the release of Sonakshi Sinha’s character poster. The actress shared the intriguing poster on her Instagram, which shows her looking terrified while holding a flaming stick.

Dressed in a blue kurta with minimal makeup, Sonakshi captioned the poster, “Indira doesn’t believe in ghosts, but Kakuda’s wrath is about to get very personal! Can she survive the mayhem? #AbMardKhatreMeinHai #Kakuda premiering on 12th July, only on #ZEE5.”

Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, ‘Kakuda’ is set in the eerie village of Ratodi in Uttar Pradesh’s Mathura district. The film revolves around a peculiar ritual that involves opening a smaller door in every house every Tuesday at 7:15 pm to avoid the wrath of Kakuda, who punishes the men of the house.

The film also features Riteish Deshmukh and Saqib Saleem. Riteish shared his excitement about playing a ghost hunter in the film, saying, “The horror-comedy genre has always intrigued me… Kakuda has a great blend of humour with unexpected twists. Working with a talented and enthusiastic cast and crew made the experience even better.”

‘Kakuda’ is set to premiere on ZEE5 on July 12.
