Soni Razdan’s Poem For Alia Will Melt Your Heart As She Turns 32

March 15, 2025: Alia Bhatt’s 32nd birthday was filled with love and heartfelt wishes from her family, marking a special day for the actress. Among the first to shower Alia with love was her mother, Soni Razdan, who took to Instagram to share a heartfelt birthday poem for her daughter.

In her touching post, Razdan shared a series of pictures with Alia and penned an adorable poem that expressed her deep affection for her “dearest” daughter. The poem read:

“Dearest Alia,
A little wish for you …
You perhaps do not know
How you make all our lives glow
Hope you have a smashing year
And live it without any fears
May audacity be your friend
And your triumphs never end
May your troubles melt away
(And not come back another day)
I know my poem’s not that great
But it’s heart’s in the right place
All that I’m trying to convey
Is I love you more than words can say
Happy Birthday birdie. Keep on flying.”

This heartfelt gesture from Soni was a sweet reminder of their strong bond, with the pair having also shared screen space in the 2018 spy thriller Raazi.

Earlier in the day, Alia also received birthday wishes from her mother-in-law, actress Neetu Kapoor, who referred to Alia as her “gorgeous friend” in a social media post. Neetu shared a special memory from their relationship, making the day even more memorable for the actress.

Despite initial plans for a Holi and birthday getaway to Alibaug, Alia had to cut short her trip following the passing of filmmaker Deb Mukherjee, the father of her close friend and director Ayan Mukerji. Mukherjee, a veteran of Indian cinema, passed away at the age of 83 on Friday, and Alia, accompanied by her husband Ranbir Kapoor, went to offer condolences to Ayan Mukerji.

On her birthday, Alia celebrated the day amidst the media, also taking the opportunity to share insights into her upcoming film Love and War, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The film, starring Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, and Vicky Kaushal, is currently filming, with the cast shooting at night to create a focused and distraction-free environment for Bhansali’s intricate storytelling style.

As Alia entered her 32nd year, surrounded by the love of her family and fans, it marked a moment of reflection and excitement for the actress, both personally and professionally.
