‘Sonic The Hedgehog 3’ Set To Stream On Paramount+ Starting February 18

February 18, 2025: Paramount+ is set to bring the highly anticipated Sonic the Hedgehog 3 to streaming in the US and Canada on February 18. This marks the third installment of the popular film franchise based on SEGA’s iconic video game character, Sonic. In addition to the US and Canada, the film will also be available in other international markets on the platform at a later date.

Fans of Sonic will be able to enjoy the first two films in the series, as well as the spin-off series Knuckles and a retro animated show, all available for streaming on Paramount+. The third installment in the series continues the adventures of Sonic, Knuckles, and Tails as they face a new and dangerous foe, Shadow—a mysterious hedgehog with powers beyond anything they have encountered before.

Directed by Jeff Fowler, Sonic the Hedgehog 3 introduces Keanu Reeves in the role of Shadow. The star-studded cast also includes Jim Carrey, Ben Schwartz, James Marsden, Tika Sumpter, Idris Elba, Krysten Ritter, Natasha Rothwell, and Shemar Moore.

The film is produced by Neal H. Moritz, Toby Ascher, Toru Nakahara, and Hitoshi Okuno, with executive producers including Haruki Satomi, Shuji Utsumi, Yukio Sugino, Jeff Fowler, Tommy Gormley, and Tim Miller. Since its inception, the Sonic franchise has grossed over USD 1.2 billion globally, with Sonic the Hedgehog 4 slated to hit theaters on March 19, 2027.
